About

Lens Mount Check is a free reference database that helps photographers and filmmakers answer one question: will this lens work on this camera?

What you can do here

Browse the Cameras, Lenses, and Adapters lists, or open any product page to see its specifications and a compatibility result. Pages show whether a lens fits natively, whether it can be used through a mount adapter, and what to expect for autofocus and sensor coverage.

Where the data comes from

We compile mount specifications, such as flange distance and mount diameter, from manufacturers’ official materials wherever they are available. Compatibility results are calculated from those specifications using consistent rules for every product, and adapter autofocus conditions are listed only when a manufacturer states them. Where an official figure could not be confirmed, we say so rather than guess.

We have not necessarily tested every combination in person. Treat results as a well-sourced guide, not a guarantee, and confirm critical details with the manufacturer or seller before you buy.
