The D3500 was the final and most refined entry in Nikon’s long-running D3000-series, pairing a 24.2-megapixel DX sensor with a lighter body, improved battery life, and a compact retractable kit lens. It uses the native Nikon F mount, with autofocus support for AF and AF-S lenses; older AI/AI-S lenses mount but without metering coupling on this body.
