The EOS 60Da is an astrophotography variant of the 60D, sharing its 18-megapixel APS-C sensor and vari-angle LCD but with a modified infrared cut filter that passes about three times more hydrogen-alpha light for capturing red nebulae. It uses the same EF/EF-S mount with full electronic contacts and a 1.6x crop factor. Daytime images show a red color cast.
