The EF400mm F5.6L USM is a lightweight, fast-focusing super-telephoto favored by bird photographers for its excellent balance of reach, speed, and portability. Lacking Image Stabilization keeps it compact and affordable, appealing to photographers who prioritize quick, precise autofocus over stabilization for fast-moving subjects.
