Canon EOS M cameras use the EF-M mount, which is not compatible with EF or EF-S lenses directly. Canon’s Mount Adapter EF-EOS M is the official solution: Canon describes it as working with its full range of EF and EF-S lenses, from 8mm to 800mm, with no loss in quality or speed. Because EF-M cameras use APS-C sensors, EF-S lenses cover the sensor fully. The lists below, taken from our own database, show every EF and EF-S lens and EF-M camera we have recorded, along with flange distances and autofocus details.
