The D80 succeeded the D70S as Nikon’s mid-range enthusiast DSLR, moving up to a 10.2-megapixel sensor and a more advanced autofocus module borrowed from higher-end bodies. It uses the native Nikon F mount, with autofocus support for AF and AF-S lenses and metering compatibility for AI/AI-S manual lenses.
