Sony E-mount cameras cannot take Canon EF lenses directly, so a mount converter is needed. Sigma makes the MC-11 in an EF-E version for Canon EF-mount lenses on Sony E-mount bodies. Sigma states that it gives Sigma lenses made for Canon cameras full automatic exposure control on Sony E-mount bodies, and it points buyers to a compatibility chart for specific lenses.
